HOMEGROWN NATIONAL PARK™ is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization founded by Doug Tallamy and Michelle Alfandari. Our purpose is to catalyze the grassroots call-to-action to regenerate biodiversity and ecosystem function one person at a time. We imagine that every person in this country - and soon the world - will get the “bug” to “get on the MAP” and be part of the largest cooperative conservation project ever conceived or attempted. We graciously accept any level of donation to support the costs associated with this website, the MAP, social media, legal and related expenses to spread the word, remove barriers to entry and get everyone planting native.
