We’re thrilled that Homegrown National Park was recently featured on WGN News in Chicago! In a story highlighting the growing movement among Chicago area residents to shrink their lawns and embrace native plants, we were honored to share how this simple yet impactful shift is helping to bring nature back to the city. By transforming traditional lawns into thriving habitats, Chicagoans are enhancing local biodiversity and reconnecting urban spaces with the natural world.
Thank you to our fantastic HNP volunteers in the Chicagoland area who made this story possible.
