Meet the Speaker

Andrew Conboy is an ISA-certified arborist, urban forester, and native plant advocate. He founded the Community Canopy Project, an ecological restoration non-profit, to improve his local natural lands and to engage the public in land stewardship. On social media, he creates informative videos about trees and native plants in hopes of helping people connect with the natural world. Andrew loves eliminating turf lawns, planting native oak trees wherever possible, and eating rice and bean burritos.
